The Growth of GuzDesigns

I am beyond excited to launch this new website. This means progress. This means growth. This is a big deal to me and I’m so excited to share in this journey with you!

This new website will provide easier and more enjoyable navigation for you all, more payment options, easier usage across devices, and not to mention, this new BLOG! Which, is something I’ve wanted to start for a while now.

I don’t see my brand as just a web-store. I see it as so much more and this website will allow me to bring you many more ideas, get more in depth, and allow me to be more interactive with you all!

I began this brand about 5 years ago, with a run of just twelve NO TATTOOS DIE NAKED tees. At the time, I was in my final year of University and had to sell them at a loss just to get them out there. I had zero experience in starting a business, zero experience in selling merchandise (other than selling a few art projects to locals and friends), and zero experience in Social Media Marketing. I take pride in this story of small beginnings now, because it shows how far I’ve come and because I have surpassed what even that 21-year-old young woman could have imagined. What is even more amazing after that thought, is the thought that I still feel I have only JUST begun! I have so many more ideas, so many more things I am still trying to grow into. But, now I am so much more encouraged because I have a tiny glimpse at how much a brand can evolve, if you just don’t give up. I share this story in hopes to encourage you as well. Whatever it is you are passionate about….keep going… and never give up! This world needs your unique self!

(My very first run of shirts, pictured above)

I want to give a special thanks to Megan, who created amazing video and photos for me in relation to me launching my new Spring Collection & this website! I’m truly thankful for your talent and amazing heart.

And, of course, my amazing husband, Michael, who always has my back, and has been my biggest supporter through the ups and downs of being a Creator.

Expect much more on this blog. It will not only be about what I create, but I will be sharing more about my journey through life, faith, art, and more….

All the love,

Guz

  • I met you watching a fight when the restaurant required us to share a booth! This was such a fantastic idea by the restaurant and allowed me to meet a person who I never would have met. I have followed you since and love the motivation that you post! Best wishes to you in your journey!
